What is the best price for your house?

There are many factors who will affect the price of your house, and some of those factors change constantly. If time is not an issue, you don't have to worry about trying to establish an asking price accurately: pick a price and one day your house will get to that price and you will find a buyer, but this may take a long time!

If your goal is to sell your property and obtain the best price at that time, it becomes very important to understand the market, understand what will affect the price of your property and determine a realistic asking price to allow you to negotiate a sale in the best possible conditions.

Following you will find some considerations entering into the estimation of the value of a property:

  • Condition of the property : what is the current buyer looking for? Move in condition or potential?
  • Location of the property : close to school, transportation, busy street or neighborhood?
  • Supply : what is the current inventory level in the town? In general and more precisely for your type of house
  • Demand : do you have a type of property requested by the buyers right now?

As real estate agent, we look at the market on a daily basis, know the properties that are or will compete with yours and we are in contact with buyers at all times. It would be our pleasure to share this knowledge with you!
